When Ponce de Leon explored Florida for the first time, was impress by the many wildflowers that called it “Florida”, is a Spanish name for Full of Flowers. This one is “Spanish needles” or many other names, but it scientific name is “Bidens alba”.

(Spanish: Cuando Juan Ponce Leon descubrió a Florida, quedo impresionado por sus muchas flores silvestres que llamo el area Florida. El nombre científico de esta es “Bidens alba”).
